I thought I was into this but it's just sort of "meh" for me at 25%. Not that catching and sort of feels like a copy of The Silent Patient than reminiscent of. Also, without finishing the book, I can almost guarantee

? that Joe is being possessed by the monster than haunted him as a kid.

And if that's true, that tip off happened way to early.

I really enjoyed this horror! Asylums and creepy kids really freak me out so this weirded me out to no end. I enjoyed the blog/creepypasta style of the book and the twists. That ending just floored me, my jaw literally hit the floor. I know this one isn't for everyone but I loved it!
