My Review

If you follow me on Twitter, you know that I recently became obsessed with Miss Fischer’s Murder Mysteries on Netflix. If you haven’t watched this show yet, stop reading this post and go do so! I’ll wait

This was fun but it’s not the lesbian jeeves and wooster detective story it could have been. Also why have her eat veal in the triumphant end of case tea party are you seeerrrrious

What a delight! The Netflix adaptation failed to grip me, but I loved falling into this world through text. Perfect weekend reading.

Cute!! I read because I love the tv show so much and they took this okay story and quirky characters and transformed them into something more unique and more fun. Good to know where it came from but won’t look into more of these.

Fabulous! Phryne Fisher is amazing. Much more entertaining than Sherlock Holmes, and I love some Holmes, too.

A well-written but rather ordinary story. The end in general as well as the villain are predictable. Though, it's nice to read about a pretty and reach young lady who, on top of that, is clever, kind and has an impeccable style

Loses a mark for the weird five minutes of anti-lesbianism and anti-asexuality near the end
