It took me a while to get into Outline but once I did I loved it. Transit picks up beautifully from where Outline left off and it's so good. Cusk is giving us so much with these novels.

A peek from behind the corner, a glimpse of someone's life, a whisper from a nearby conversation. Cusk's writing style is incredibly eerie, like a wind carrying around reflections and memories. However, compared to Outline, some of these snippets felt just slightly too staged, too forced, not edited enough.

I adore her writing. The perfect blend of not too hard to think about but deeply philosophical too. My favourite writer. easy to read like drinking single cream. I am dairy free but it felt like that. delicious and thought provoking.
