Absolutely love these little stories. Imagine Bridgerton but make it the Dream of the Red Chamber (I haven't seen/read either of those but I imagine this is what they're like). Always vivid characters, always engaging plot, always interesting and perceptive social discourse. A bit cliché at times but still def worth a read.
