I can't believe how many times I have read this series and not told others they need to read. YOU NEED TO READ THIS BOOK AND THE REST OF THE SERIES.

There is aways a great romance, usually with the breed male being reluctant. That is not truer than with Teagan. He has avoided females for centuries. His heart was crushed when he failed his mate, returning to a minion instead of his love.

Elise has only one mission--stop the drug crimson from affecting others. It is her oath to her dead son who took the drug and went rogue.

Two people that want no one cannot live without one another. This is a wonderful journey with lots of nail biting moments. Evil lurches around the corner. Will love be enough??

Each book in this series gets a little bit better. Much more tension which I appreciated

Where the heck did Chase disappear to in the last half of the book? Like there’s literally no mention of him? No reaction to Elise and Teagan being mates?

Ok. Tegan is my favorite so far. Wow. Whew, what a book. What a hell of a cliff hanger at the end.

Okay, this series is addictive. It's not like I'm anxious to pick the next one right now, but I know that when I pick it up I won't stop until I finish it.

I loved Tegan and Elise

The story does go a little slow in this.... Luckily both Elise and Tegan were really addictive characters with a lot of layers, both tortured and saving each other....

The ending opens a whole new can of worms and a new big bad.....

This installment was somewhat less angsty, but I did find this angst to be more deserved. Both Tegan and Elise were tortured characters and I enjoyed this book the most so far.

I liked this one more than the others because of Tegan. Elise was also captivating from the beginning, though we knew more about her than any of the other women in the previous stories. Tegan kept putting up barriers after he would let Elise in, but the pain he has hidden keeps him from letting her in. It did take him a bit long to finally come around. Elise did put up with a lot more than I would have ever done, but Im glad she was a bit of a fighter.
