I'm not a fan of Katara/Aang, literally any other pairing is fine. The book was going great until the first "Sweetie" between Katara and Aang... I definetly got the 'Oogies' every time they said that. It seemed so disingenuous!
Graphic: Fire/Fire injury, Colonisation, and War
Moderate: Violence and Xenophobia
Minor: Confinement and Death

I think this is a wonderful continuation of the story we saw in the show. It picks up where the show left off and starts the efforts of bringing balance to the world now that the war is over.
Obviously it doesn’t all go completely smoothly and I’m excited to see the resolution in the next two books.

(I've read "The Promise" Omnibus: includes Books 1-3) I love it. If you loved the A:TLA TV series, then I think you're gonna love this comic book. This colored graphic novel shows what happened after the A:TLA series, and before TLoK series. It tackles colonization and its effects, and it gives you something to reflect on. I would recommend this to all ages. 🙂 The art is also soo beautiful. They showed the process of creation at the back. I wanna appreciate my comics more but idrk how other than rereading it and observing the art. 😅 I thought the entire Sokka Penga thing was weird though.
