Really like the writing style and Jude as a character. Not a big fan of Cardan though - and none of the plottwists were really that surprising.

It started off way too mundane at faerie school and only picked up after 50% or so (which was also plain boring and almost going nowhere plotwise) which is way too slow imo.
Still pretty enjoyable and I love the progression in Jude’s character. Girlie knows how to stand up and I love that for her.

3.8 ⭐️ sometimes the writing was confusing but the plot twists were great and the last chapter .. OMG!!!! I never saw that one coming … it’s an interesting plot that had a lots of twists and turns and I’m intrigued to see how plays out in book 2!
