I heard horror and erotica and was immediately intrigued but this writing style is just not it for me.

Entertaining read. A few lovely phrases. Pushing boundaries, reaching for something subconscious beyond social mores. Akin to The Human Centipede, maybe.

Bataille describing the Milky Way Galaxy as a painting of celestial cum and astral urine really spoke to me

A disturbing read! There isn't much of a story, but rather a feeling that worsens as you continue to read. The author's note at the end brings some of the scenes into perspective, which leaves you reflecting on the novel's message and the traumas that informed the author.
