DNF.. I don’t like reading too long of a prologue.. but cover wasn’t bad to look at.

This book didn't hit the same as the original Dare series, but it was still pretty good. I binge listened to the Dare Nation series. I enjoy a single dad book. Austin and Quinn had good chemistry, but I was surprised they it took them as long to admit their attraction.
I listened to the audiobook, and some of the changes Austin went through trying to take care of a baby were so entertaining. I also loved his devotion to his siblings. I also appreciated that Quinn was not only intelligent, but resourceful and on top of her game. I admired that she was so willing to help out knowing about her past experiences.
Joe Arden and Erin Mallon did a great job of narration. I think it made the book even more entertaining.

I enjoyed reading Austin and Quinn's story. I felt this story was a little slower than some other Carly Phillips books, but once it got moving I really liked it. The baby was adorable and I enjoyed seeing some of the other Dares from past stories. I'm looking forward to the next books in this series and I think each one will keep getting better.

Being attracted to your executive assistant is a problem for Austin, but after a year of working side by side with Quinn he has been able to keep it professional. But when a tiny bundle is left at his door, he needs Quinn's help to take care of his assumed baby daughter. Will the relationship become hot and bothered after spending day and night together? Or will Quinn feel he is just using her as a nanny? To see a huge retired pro-football player fall in love was great. Both Quinn and Austin's characters were honest and true and the reader instantly gets trapped in the storyline. This was a great beginning to a new series that I am sure will become one of my favorites.
