I would give it a 5/5 but i’m mad at how much it made me cry. I needed to take several breaks from this book…. however it was a fast read because i was so interested!!!

This was nothing like I had expected this book to be. The content was an extremely hard read and not in a good way. This book sexualized young teens and mentions rape as more of a sexual encounter rather than what it was, rape. The adults characters in the book brush it off and never take the incident seriously. 
Apart from the sexual content the book didn’t go on to talk about mental health in very much depth as one would expect when picking up this book. 
Overall just disappointing.

This book was a stay up all night read. From someone who could relate heavily to the experience of the psych ward. It felt good to see the development.

Surprisingly a solid raw and real read about teens and mental illness/suicide. There’s no sugarcoating and not everything is tied up with a nice bow at the end and that’s what makes it feel so realistic to me.
