I was captivated by this story of a boy who suddenly discovers people with unique giftings, like he has, and who sets off on a quest with his imaginary friend. The characters were memorable and likable, and anything with a bit of magic, time travel and some kind of journey keeps me entertained. Adults should check this one out for themselves, not just for the middle grade readers in their lives.

I did receive a digital copy of the book from the author, but my review is my honest opinion.
