I know the patriarchy is everywhere, fucking up everything but I didn't see how the patriarchy is everywhere. This book is interesting. I can't disagree with her arguments. She focuses on media -movies/book - but also current events and news stories/history (serial killers).
After reading this book I realize that in the ending of Game of Thrones the TV show, Danni could never live because she's a danger to the patriarchy. Jon is the patriarchy's victory over another woman who tried to change the world.

Minor: Animal cruelty, Child abuse, Domestic abuse, Emotional abuse, Gore, Misogyny, and Cannibalism
This book makes mention of a lot of graphic details of different aspects of the not nice things that have happened in society. From things witches were accused of doing to the devil to the way a serial killer butchered his mother. Everything is short and to the point. No elaborate details going on for even a paragraph. Enough to startle me but not enough to make me put the book down because these are things society does to women.
