I feel conflicted (like literally everyone who picked this book up 😭).

I wanted a crazy-ass read and that’s exactly what this was. Half the time I was going like “huh?” And the other time I was going like “fuck.”

For anyone who is curious about this book and is like I want to pick it up! Literally go into this with NO expectations. Everything is crazily unhinged and WILD.

The writing style, world building, and characters are quite something! 😀

There was this one scene where one of the Twins was being asked about her ethnicity and she goes, “Our Latina looks had served us more than one occasion like this.”

I fr had to pause and ask myself, “FR?”

I swear they seem like twins that would identify as “spicy Latinas” and to that I say:

“Mi gente Latino ✊” (ikyk).

I don’t trust a single character in this series.

Not Orion and ESPECIALLY none of the heir boys. They’re spoiled brats that need to be kicked down SEVERAL notches.

Also wtf is up with the lack of consent? These girls were not only being bullied BUT experiencing different forms of SA & Sexual Harassment.

I swear to god, I had the urge to call the authorities over the lack of consent. Like grown ass professors TOO were assaulting people. And everyone just acted like it was normal, like HELLO???

I will continue reading since I truly am a chismosa at heart.

It is just worse Boys over Flowers and I fucking hate Boys over Flowers with an undying passion.

I knew I was going to hate this before I read it. I only read it because I promised a friend I would read it as it is a favourite. There is no way I will ever forgive any of the men in this book for the amount of assault committed.

I think this series is better on GraphicAudio than anywhere else. It made the story more engaging and enjoyable than reading it.

This is not supposed to be YA, but it feels very YA. There are numerous amounts of noncon moments, which I don't see noted in a lot of reviews. It's ok that professor Orion does things to Tory and Darcy without their consent, because he's hot. What?!? Tory and Darcy also keep magically forgetting that the heirs are trash... because they are also hot.

I think I am too old for this book. It feels very YA. None of the decisions anyone made in this story made any sense. Not sure if I'll continue the series but the concept of the book is so great, execution was lacking. I don't really even find myself rooting for the main characters half the time.

The bullying was too much. It felt really out of place and forced.

No plot, no characterization, no cool worldbuilding, no romance even??? Like, this is only fun if you want to see two girls be bullied nonstop, violently and dangerously? I do guess there is the "whisked away to magic land from sucky life" and "here are categories the reader can sort themself into" elements, but they're also not very good?

Everyone is constantly horny, but even if you're in it for the smut, there's only one smut scene in the book? So I just really don't get it.
