This super sweet audiobook by the star of “Emily’s wonder lab” is a treasure. It’s her words of wisdom to her daughter. I just listened to it with my six year old and three year old snuggling next to me. They were smiling as they listened to the seeet words of comfort and advice.
I could see myself gifting this to new mamas at baby showers. I wish I had this to read when my kiddos were just babies!
We’ve preordered our copy and can’t wait to see the beautiful illustrations that match the words.

The illustrations are absolutely beautiful, and the text conveys a mother's hope for her child's future and delight in spending time with her daughter in the present. The STEM themes will appeal to many readers, and they come through in a very natural way through the parent/child activities, without seeming tacked on.
My one significant critique is the page about careers, which basically says that you have to do something amazing. It's not necessary for a kid to become an astronaut or a president for them to be satisfied in their careers and achieve meaningful goals, and this page felt more like misguided parental pressure than anything else.
