⁣“Knitting was a diabolical exercise in frustration. Most everything I tried to knit ended up looking like something from the hedgehog family. Still, it wouldn’t look good to admit that the person running a knitting shop couldn’t knit, so I picked up a few pat phrases.”⁣

This was an enjoyable second book in this series, but I want more witchy content and less murder mystery. I’m still loving the quaint, cozy Oxford setting and the quirky town folk, but I’m ready for these books to explore the Vampire/Witch connections way more than this second book did.

Just the right amount of witch craft in this fun series. I'm looking forward to more stories from this author.

Continuing on for a bookclub. I wish there was more about the vampire and witch characters- their powers, history, etc. Those elements are more of a background for another normal murder mystery.

This was such a surprise and delight! I was browsing the available audiobooks on Libby as I have recently started listening to audiobooks while working and cozy mysteries were working nicely. I was immediately intrigued when I saw "Vampire Knitting Club" and borrowed book #2.
The characters and setting are delightful and the mystery kept me guessing. I'm definitely going to listen to the rest of the series.

A great follow up to the first book! Very easy to read and goes down lovely.

I want a bit more character development, but I’m continuing to read in this series.

The mysteries are crafted well with fantastic red herrings and nuggets to piece it all together - if you really pay attention. This one was almost as hard as the first book, but I did figure it out before the big reveal.

Still, a great adventure and it makes me want to pick up a warm cup of tea and knit.
