Holy mind f**k! I've finally read a reverse harem that I love..... LOVE!! I enjoyed how the author introduced each male character and how liberated the female lead, Fergie felt especially given her disability. There is nothing in this book that I didn't like. I enjoy all three male characters and their flaws and shortcomings. The concept of the Poison Ivy club is brilliant, especially with the black mails that occurs, sweet Jesus!
I need book two right this minute!
Please bear in mind that this book ends on a cliffhanger, and I can wait for Fergie and her boys to dish out revenge.

I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Poison Ivy is the second book I have read by Steffanie Holmes but I sure quickly have become a fan. This book was fantastic. Fergie was NOT what I’ve expected at all and boy am I glad! She is fierce, strong, stubborn, righteous and freaking gorgeous and she does not let her blindness get in her way ever, nor does she let anyone take advantage of her without repercussions. The boys on the other hand were quite a surprise for me as well. They each had their own strengths but also weaknesses. Furthermore, the storyline premise was really surprising indeed. I would have never imagined a scenario like the Poison Ivy Club. Go into the book blind if you ask me ( seriously no pun intended) and enjoy. Just know that the intimate scenes are scorching hot and the cliffhanger is quite annoying

Poison Ivy is a fantastic dark bully romance. Fergie is strong FMC. When she and her dad has started their life over, she gains a stepbrother and his twisted friends. Cas, Victor, and Torsten are Poison Ivy Club. And at first, they thought Fergie was going to be their new toy, but things change slowly. And Fergie fits perfectly with each of the guys through the book. But the amazing cliffhanger ending will make you want to scream until you get book 2.

This is the start of A new high school bully series from Steffanie Holmes. It's the first book I've read that the FMC is blind and we see the world from her pov. It was enlightening that was for sure and well detailed.

Fergie and her dad has moved to Emerald Beach after he suddenly remarries Carli Dios. They have a hidden reason for moving and a past theyve rewritten due to something only referred to as 'The Incident ' until late on.
Fergie knows she's going to have a new stepbrother but she expected some 12yr old kid, not a built 18yr old who seduces her as soon as he sees her.

Cassius holds a grudge against Fergie for moving into his brothers room and believes his mother has given her to him as a gift to break.

Cassius, along with Victor, his twin Julie and Torsten make up the Poison Ivy Club. Basically if you want to go an Ivy college they'll make it happen by destroying the dreams of anyone else so you make it.

In her previous school she was on course for Harvard, but for some reason, here she's got a wiped clean slate. So she hires the Poison Ivy Club to get her that chance again.....

Each of their parents are powerful players in the underworld, but we don't learn how much until later in the book.

Naturally, all three guys are interested in Fergie and she, them! Each are very different. Cassius is rough, and wants to break her, whereas Victor is still alpha but he's the one who wants to put her back together.

Torsten is the interesting one. It's not said, but I get the impression he's autistic. He doesn't talk much, he draws constantly and has perfect ability to redraw something he saw for minutes weeks ago. His ability to handle touch can be overpowering to him, but Fergie seems to understand him. Like her blindness helps fb understand that part of him better.

The cliffhanger was built up to a point you knew it was coming so it wasn't a surprise, but still heartbreaking that it happened! You hoped it wouldn't...

It took me a fair while to read this, which for a bully book is actually quite unusual. It started off at a good pace, but then it kinda felt like walking thru mud. I got thru it, but it took a lot more effort than normal. I loved Fergies character and the way her blindness didn't affect any part of her life in a negative way. She was a fierce, confident and as independent as possible. I will be picking up the next book as I'm intrigued as what will happen to her and I want to see how she affects the boys!

I received a copy of the ebook in return for an honest review

RE-READ 19/02/2023
Nothinh has really changed in my opinion of the book since I last read it!

Torsten is possibly my fave of the 3 men due to his unique character. He and Fergie are differently able in some way and thru this seem to connect on a way thru don't with anyone else, even Cas or Victor.

Cas seems so very confused. Desperately wants his mother's approval and doesnt know how yo get it, so keeps trying - and this might have been the straw that breaks the camel back for his mum. He needs to try to stop and think about who HE is and what makes him happy and I think then his healing can begin.

As for Victor... Well.... We need to hope.

And Fergie- I think this is when we see how truly strong she is. Mentally, not because of her Marshall arts.

A great start to a series!

I’m feeling a bit conflicted over this book. While it kept me engrossed for the 1st half or so, it really slowed down and I struggled to read the last half. I also have an extreme hatred for miscommunication tropes and this is turning into that. Like why does nobody talk to each other???
Cas is a dick and frankly I’d like to see him offed but I know that’s probably not going to happen. These boys better grovel till they have no voices left for that ending though. And I can’t wait for Fergie to show them who their queen is.
