I really liked things fall apart by this author, and I did like Arrow of God but I did find it a bit hard to get through at some point, and I also prefer the voice of the first book over this one, I didn’t enjoy reading from the white perspective as much but overall still beautiful written, and still very excited to read the final book.

Ugh. What a drag. I think I hate classics.
I appreciate that of all three books, Ezeulu was less of a coward than Obi and Okonkwo. That was at least tolerable.

I tag homophobia because the f word was used at least three times in place of the word "maggots". Not sure what that's about. Also I consider religious assimilation as a form of cultural genocide.hot_water's review against another edition
