No cause we all knew this was coming, to be honest, I loved this book, and it really did live up to its expectations.
- Ahsoka: Ahsoka is, non-arguably, the best Jedi (for legal reasons this is a joke, she isn't even a Jedi but). She is an icon, truly and I think she is one of the most complex and amazing characters in this universe. She is so selfless and has the best moral compass I've ever seen. She means a lot to me so I'm glad I got to read a multiple hundred-page book about her and everything she's been through because frankly, it's a lot. This girl is 17 and has gone through a war... that would mess up anyone. and, she literally got accused of murder and shunned from the Jedi order. anyway, yeah she's perfect and I love her and will defend her with my life.
- Kaeden: HELLO??? She is perfect, stunning, and a canon sapphic? Get out of here she's my new book girlfriend and also coincidentally my new Star Wars girlfriend. Anyway, Kaeden deserves the world. All the shit she's been through, it's really intense. My poor girl, literally raised her little sister when she was just a teen. And then the empire comes and it all gets worse for her. I feel so bad for her, I just really want to hug her.
- Miara: Okay, she is really precious. Which I know is kinda weird of me to say since she is my age but we're gonna pretend that's not the case. She is so sweet and she cares so much for Kaeden and I love that so much. We rarely get to see powerful sister duos where the younger one is the most defensive of the other. Also, Miara really does (I went to do something else before finishing this sentence and I've completely forgotten what I wanted to say so instead get this incomplete sentence :D )
- Guest appearances: There were so many guest appearances??? Like we got flashbacks from Obi-Wan, lots of references to clones and Rex mostly, , and baby Leia was in a scene! It was incredible and I'm so glad we got to see all of them, even if some of them were in pretty sad conditions.
Spoiler
Bail was in a huge chunk of the book
- Ahsoka x Kaeden: They are actually perfect for each other! I feel like Ahsoka needs someone who isn't a Jedi or a politician to help guide her through life. I just really like the way they both learn a lot from each other and learn to work together quickly and it just seems like they were made to be a couple! Also, I'd always seen Ahsoka as a bisexual so I don't know, this just fits perfectly in my head.

It probably would have gone better if Anakin were with her.
The weight of her lighsabers in her hands was reasurring, but she would have traded them both for Anakin's presence in a heartbeat.
He was right after all: she was no Jedi.
She missed R2-D2.
She'd survived because she had left. She had walked away.
Just, the whole of pages 64 to 68 :((
But it had been a while since she'd had one [family].
The other kind of family is the kind you find.
The key, as always, was to find balance.
The Empire had arrived.
though espionage with Anakin always ended in explosions.
Ahsoka always thought the clones sounded different, but Yoda said that was because she took the time to really listen to them.
Neera's piece hadn't been enough to change the game's outcome. Neera's piece hadn't been enough to make a diffenrence in the end. The game had been settled on the third move, long before any of them was aware of it.
She refused to imagine them with Rex's face.
She really, really missed R2-D2.
"I have a feeling you've seen too much, yourself."
but no one knew her anymore,
even though there was no one left for her to banter with.
She felt the full power of the Force flow through her, and she welcomed it.
It was something Anakin had never mastered.
page 167 is pain
It wasn't just that she was leaving her friends; she was leaving her friends again.

She almost admired Palpatine for his ability to pull off a long-term plan -- except for his being evil and all.
she'd been trained to fly by the best pilot in the galaxy.
"Goodbye Ashla," Hedala said. "I'll miss you."
Obi-Wan's greatest annoyance, his brother, and his closest friend.
