This book has officially made it to the top of my comfort reads list. I enjoyed it not only because I’m a cat person but because of the persistence and strength shown by the characters. The overall message of facing your fears and taking a risk no matter how scared your are resonated strongly with me. Anxiety and the affects of social media are also very much a fundamental part of the story, and I appreciate that so much as highly sensitive person. This story makes me wish there was a cat cafe I could go to nearby. I can just visualize the cat cafe and all the cats and their personalities. What a much needed treat and bright spot to my summer!

I have always had cats. I grew up in Brooklyn and dogs weren’t allowed in apartments, so naturally my rebel parents snuck a kitten in when I was 4. They put him in a little teacup for my bday with a bow on his head & I had him until I was 22.

We need more romances with cats in them. However, Ben ruined this one for me with his misogynistic tendencies, this isn't a dark romance he's actually supposed to be a good person. I loved the cat descriptions at the beginning of each chapter and though the cat café plot was cute, if super underdeveloped.

This book definitely had a holiday feel to it and I recommend it if you're wanting something that feels like reading a Hallmark movie.

Thank you to NetGalley, Forever (Grand Central Publishing), and Codi Gary for an eARC of this book!
