Flynn and Rose had fantastic chemistry, but I had a hard time staying engaged in the back and forth of their complex relationship. Both men were frustratingly closed off in their inner thoughts, aside from long monologues about how much they were attracted to each other, and the further I read, the less I felt like I knew either of them. I wanted to be excited about more than their physical connection, but there honestly wasn't that much else going on in the story. The will they/won't they relationship drama was central to the main plotline, and I wanted the two of them to move on to something else after the first almost-breakup. The kink scenes and lusty attraction were written fantastically, as always, but I wish there had been more to keep me rooting for the characters. I think if I'd been able to really dig into the characters and work through the complexities of their thought processes, I would have liked their story a lot more, but it just didn't work for me.

I absolutely love Rose! I love his spirit and his willingness to push back and fight for what he deserves, even if he goes about it in a roundabout way! I love that he learns to stand up to his ex! I love that he makes Flynn question himself and his motives and hey if the two of them have explosive chemistry... well so much the better!

This was very much a redemption story and a chance to watch both characters grow into the right person for the other! I loved the pacing, the interplay and the fact that the dom has angst!

Each of these Trophy Dom stories has been similar, but truly unique and I truly loved getting to know Flynn and Rose! I can't wait to see what happens next!
