His wife is jealous of his ex girlfriend that he killed 25 years ago and the police can’t figure out what happened to his ex but ~she can solve it~ because that’s how books work

I came across this short story on Audible and I really enjoyed it. A great little suspense thriller with a twist. I'm definitely keen to read more Margot Hunt books.

Extraordinarily whiney and selfish main character, it was hard to empathize with her at all. Predictable story, disappointing listen.

This one surprised me. I really enjoyed this one and was hooked the whole way through, but gotta be honest I was a bit disappointed with who the killer actually ended up being, and I found the main wife a bit immature and unlikable. Overall really enjoyed this one though, very gripping.

Short and to the point.
Slightly predictable, but not bad.

For an audiobook thriller under 3 hours long, this wasn’t all that bad. Hunt got right to the point and didn’t dally around with the plot. I was expecting the ending to be a little different than what happened, but overall it was a good short read.
