Kate Spade design is so cool yet elegant. Her book is just the same. She gives insight into how she thinks about color, pieces, and life. Enjoyable little book to browse or read cover-to-cover.

Kate Spade is my absolute favorite designer and brand, so I was very intrigued to pick this book up. However, I was very disappointed after reading this. This book focuses on different aspects of style, specifically in Kate Spade trends and colors. This just seemed extremely pointless to me. It's great to learn about the Kate Spade style, but everyone's style is different and unique, so a book explaining one particular style seems useless. This was a cute idea, but was not executed effectively to benefit readers.

Loved this little book. Great stories, advice and beautiful illustrations. She makes fashion and style approachable, less overwhelming and fun.

This little book is like an annotated Pinterest board/magazine rather than a book. Fun to flip through for a few minutes.

Once again, Kate Spade is the queen. Outlining simple style rules, Spade's renderings allow you to picture what you can do with what you have. Great book!

Man. All I need is a designer name and I too could write a book. I did copy a few fashion quotes out of this one, though. --notes from 2005

This was a fun quick read and while not much substance wise, I did enjoy the quotes from her and her husband as well as the illustrations.
