Still a solid narrator, though the beginning was super confusing from where the 1st boom left off (I gave the first one a re-listen before diving in). While this one didn't quite catch me the way the first one did, I might still continue the series- all 8 of them...

I'm so loving this series, Nick was always one of my favorite characters in the Dark Hunters series. SO it would go without reason that I would love him in his own series. But now I'm curious if that the things that are happening to Nick now is going to change the course for Nick in the Dark Hunter series??? Because in the Dark Hunters series he didn't know he was anything but human, and in TCoN he knows he isn't fully human, and that he is someone who will end up ending the world in his future. It's something to ponder on as I work my way through the rest of the series, and the upcoming books in the Dark Hunters series.

What can I say, I love Nick so much lol! He's an incredible character and one I would not be upset to see on screen! I forget just how much I loved these characters and then I have to hide my snickers behind my hand before people look at me weird this series needs more attention than I think it gets.

These books are so much fun. I thought this started off quite slow, but once it picked up, IT PICKED UP. Definitely going to grab the next one too!
