I love Georgia and Maddox, I think they are so realistic and multi-faceted.

The mental illness / trauma rep in Maddox was brilliant, the understanding and kindness of Georgia is refreshing and fun. Georgia is one of the most lovable FMCs of all time, there is not a single thing I disliked in her.

Overall, I love the pacing, and there were plenty of scenes to make this relationship feel real. I absolutely adore this family and this couple.

(For the 3rd act breakup haters like myself, there is no breakup just conflict outside[?] of the main couple)

I really liked this book. I especially enjoyed the second half, but the first half was a little harder to get through…
First of the whole “secret fling” felt very similar to the first book. If I hadn’t read that first, maybe it wouldn’t have bothered me, but it felt a little like a copy-paste situation.
And then there’s Georgia, while I loved how she was genuinely and unapologetically herself there were a few instances where it was just too much. Like when
she literally used his clothes and danced on his furniture(with shoes on) because “she just couldn’t help herself “. And then basically threw a tantrum when he discovered it.
