Under the Stars is fine. Georgia and Maddox are a sweet couple, but their story as a couple lacks depth. Even utilising first person narration, this book fails to adequately describe their feelings. Instead, we are just told, flatly, how they feel. There is no lead up to it, and it makes their relationship feel both fast and fake.
As always, I love the Reynolds family so I’m interested to see where each characters ends up. I just hope they each have a more exciting story than Georgia.

Moderate: Terminal illness, Grief, Death of parent, and Abandonment
Minor: Medical content and Injury/Injury detail

I love Georgia and Maddox, I think they are so realistic and multi-faceted.
The mental illness / trauma rep in Maddox was brilliant, the understanding and kindness of Georgia is refreshing and fun. Georgia is one of the most lovable FMCs of all time, there is not a single thing I disliked in her.
Overall, I love the pacing, and there were plenty of scenes to make this relationship feel real. I absolutely adore this family and this couple.
(For the 3rd act breakup haters like myself, there is no breakup just conflict outside[?] of the main couple)
