Cheesy! But good cheesy. The sex scenes are too much. Too unnecessary. At certain point i got bored. The conflict is forced. I think this book is meant only for sex then the author forced conflict in the middle. Short and unbelievable conflict. Does not fit. The attraction between De anf maddox is also inconvincing.
I give 3 stars in credit for thr steamy sex.

Maddox Riley braucht Ordnung in seinen Leben. Beruflich und Privat. Liebe setzt er mit Macht gleich und das ist eine Macht, die er keinem im Leben geben wird. Doch als Dee in sein Leben tritt wird sein Leben mehr in Schwung gebracht als er ahnt, doch ein Schatten seiner Vergangenheit holt ihn bald ein. Und das was hätte sein können steht auf der Kippe.
Mir hat die Reihe unheimlich gut gefallen grad auf Maddox war ich sehr gespannt was hinter seiner Vergangenheit steckt. Warum er so ist wie er ist. Mit seiner Art war er mir sofort sympathisch. Dee konnte mich so halb überzeugen. Man erfährt ein Stück ihrer Vergangenheit aber ich konnte nicht so recht mit ihr fühlen. An sich hat mir die Geschichte gut gefallen, sie baut sich gut auf. Die anderen Charaktere kommen genauso drin vor wie in den anderen Bändern, was die Freundschaft realistisch macht. Das Wortgeplänkel zwischen den drei Herren ist immer wieder amüsant und man muss einfach mit grinsen.
Besonders gefallen hat mir der Epilog, da dieser 2 Jahre später spielt. Das war einfach nur genial. Man bekommt nochmal einen Einblick in das Leben der Drei. Oft fehlt mir ein toller Epilog, aber hier ist der perfekt getroffen.

this is the third installment in this series of standalones about 3 friends.
I didnt enjoy maddox as much as the first 2 but I still definitely liked this story.
ms moreland has done a great job with this series and I highly recommend give it a read now that all three are out!

Za mě prozatím asi nejlepší díl z této série. Bohužel jsem předtím rozečetla Kontrakt 2, než mi došlo, že to je propojené a přečetla jsem nějaké spoilery, takže jsem ten "šokující" zvrat už věděla, ale asi bych na to přišla stejně. Tyhle nadbytečné linky mi tam vadí asi nejvíc, ale Maddox mi byl ze všech tří kluků nejsympatičtější, takže proto to vyšší hodnocení než u předchozích dílů.
