I listened to Ambassador Rice read this audiobook, and I can honestly say I did not space out a single time. It was well written, compelling, and insightful. I appreciated her reflections about the lessons she's learned over the years.

I would have given this 5 stars -- for reminding me to learn all the capital cities in Africa, for inspiring me to get back into political memoirs, and for making me realize that I will forget foreign policy issues if I don't keep up with them -- but I felt it was missing about .25 stars worth of humility at times, and I did catch a small mistake. (The King v. Burwell Supreme Court decision came out the day before Obergefell v. Hodges, not two days after. The only reason I caught that was because I was reading Cody Keenan's book at the same time.)
