While the premise is promising, the execution falls short. The pacing feels uneven, with certain sections dragging and the characters aren’t really likeable.
Overall, there were some nice moments, but I found it a bit repetitive and uninteresting in parts.

Interesting story of multiple generations and how their individual traumas passed down and affected their whole lives. But it didn't hold my interest and I was annoyed at how some loose ends were tied up so easily.

It was a pretty good novel honestly and I liked reading about their 3 lives. I would’ve given it 4 stars if not for the fact that it spoke about sexual/domestic violence. I really really dislike reading about that and it made me want to not finish reading.
