Infinite Jest vibes just much, much shorter. There wasn't a single character I felt compelled by, and it came across as one, long fever dream about the "ideal" American experience encountering a plot twist.

Liked the concept. Some parts of the book wore more interesting and better than others, particularly Part I and Part III. The middle of the book is a little drawn out and not so interesting.

"Il avait appris la plus terrible leçon de la vie, à savoir qu'elle n'a pas de sens."

Foi o primeiro livro que li do autor, e adorei a escrita, tratando de temas tais como a convulsão social nos EUA nas décadas de 60/70, assim como a Guerra no Vietname e todos os protestos que ocorreram nos EUA como consequência. 
Para além disso, utiliza muito bem cada uma das personagens e os eventos incríveis que lhes sucedem para passar a mensagem da falta de coerência da vida.
