I loved this book and I wished it were such much longer than it was however I got to the end and was very satisfied. I hope the author continues Creeper’s story because it’s a unique story and I can’t wait to see what troubles she gets into as the years pass. I loved so much about this. The young street smart protagonist, the alternate universe New Orleans, the adventure, the orishas, the creole! It was beautiful and I couldn’t put it down. I want more more more.

A rollicking Civil War alt-hist steampunk adventure that could've been about 20 pages longer. Or 200. I'm not fussy. Leaves me very excited to explore Clark's other works.
