This is the first Roy Grace book I have read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I have to admit to becoming a bit confused with the characters, but there were reminders as I went along so I found that very helpful.

I really enjoyed the storyline and did not guess "who-did-it" at all; but on this occasion I was not actively trying to work out the plot-line, but was simply enjoying the writing.

It has spurred an interest in Irish gangs in New York, (never imagined I would ever be saying that) - so will be looking out for books on that subject at some point.

Will definitely be reading more of this series. Who knows I may even get to book one next!

Right up my alley. Excellent police procedural in the vein of Ian Rankin or Val MacDermid.
