Love will never die
Spent a good afternoon just reading and letting all my emotions fly. I cried, laughed, smiled, even had moments of anger. Very therapeutic and super thankful this was put together. There's everything to find in this book from poems to stories with awesome artworks varying from style and color. A reminder in physical form that love will always win.

Great message, but the content is hit or miss. Thankfully each story is only 1-2 pages in length.

It's rather rare I cry with a book and this kept me eye watered through most of it. Every page is from a different, author, colorist, etc.
Not all of them are great, some are quite ghastly. Thing is, the intention is to raise awareness and benefit the survivors of the shooting. Having said that, some of them are great. I don't see as many lgbtq contributors as I would like to, but I think the message gets across quite nicely.

Overall, I really like this anthology. There were a few that I felt missed the mark with me, but I bet they were helpful to others reading it. Everyone grieves differently.

Heartbreaking, heartwarming, and a wonderful tribute to the horrible event that happened 10 minutes from where I live. I think about the Pulse victims a lot and drive past Pulse often. Love is love.

2 stars - It was ok
Love is Love is a collection of 1-2 page stories about the Orlando Pulse shooting. The stories and poems in this are about the shooting, mourning, and celebrating love. While I had high hopes for this collection, I was a bit disappointed in what was presented. Sadly a lot of these stories are about straight men feeling upset and dealing with this shooting. This overshadowed a lot of the #ownnvoices stories which is just very disappointing. Overall, while this is a heartfelt and emotional collection of queer comics, I do think there were too many written by cishet allies.
Trigger Warnings: mass shooting; grief; homomisia; deadnaming; Harry Potter art;

A phenomenal collection of comics. My heart ached while reading them all and I cried so many times. So much work and effort and love was put into this and it shows down to every last page.
