Wow! This book was similar to the movie, but also not. Loved the book despite the differences - it’s always interesting to read about what the characters are thinking. Noah and Nick’s banter in the beginning was hilarious, especially when Nick tries to sick Thor on her. Mercedes Ron is a great author, can’t wait to read more from her!

I didn’t like the five year age gap between the characters, it doesn’t usually bother me but the girl (Noah) was still a minor (17) during this book and the guy (Nicholas) was an adult (22). I feel like it would have been better if the author had at least made her 18 so that way it was legal.
Other than that I liked the book (I read it in English). The story and the progress of the relationship was a bit fast paced though.

♾️🏎️💕
I needed to read this book after watching the movie to see which one I’d like better and I think I choose the movie.
However, I did enjoy checking out the differences and getting to read scenes that were cut out from the film.
This was so Wattpad coded and it makes total sense considering this was indeed a Wattpad story at the beginning, and It gave me all the After vibes with the bad boy/good girl relationship.
This book gave what it needed to give and I ate it up. I read it in-between other reads so it took me a month to finish… I guess since I had a notion of what it was about I had to take little breaks and read something new.
I do kind of regret not reading this book in its original language because the English translation was a bit weird and it kind of took me out of the story.
Nevertheless, I already have the second book and I’m even more excited to read that one before the movie this time!
