A bit far-fetched, but I love Meg Cabot's writing.

I have read this book a thousand times since the first time I picked it up maybe six or seven years ago and it still remains one of my favorite books.
Recently reread it. All I have to say is that it's awesome.

It was a bit boring at the begining, but I started to enjoy when She gets to know the president's son better. Yay for this cute, girlish young tempered novel:)

I never read Meg Cabot when I was younger, so I feel like if I had read this when I was in middle school or high school, I would've immediately given this five stars. The basic plot is something that I will eat right up, I love that kind of thing. Random girl saving the life of the president simply because of where she was and what she saw? Yes, absolutely.

If I were to give Meg Cabot advice though? As this book was written in the early 2000s, there are some terms used that just aren't deemed appropriate anymore that I think should be changed. For instance, there's multiple instances of characters using the "r" slur. There's also other things similar to that happening.

Other things I didn't like? Random sexist points, the "you're not like other girls" said by a guy (ew), the lack of character growth by side characters, etc.

Look, this book probably took me only a few hours to read and I did enjoy my time while doing so. Though a product of it's time, Meg Cabot did think of an interesting plot that could suck you right in.
