Let me begin by saying that this book punched me square in the emotions.
I absolutely flew through this epic conclusion and will definitely have to re-read the entire series at a more leisurely pace (now that I know what happens and I won’t be as adrenaline fueled) to fully appreciate the nuances of the story and artful prose. My heart pounded through this entire third book and there is no reality in which I could have slowed my pace on this first read.
Suffice it to say, I highly recommend this series.

So...wow...this series is pretty amazing. I think I liked Grey Sister the best, there were some things in each novel that totally broke my heart. This got pretty intense, and didn't let up. There were a few surprises. A few
Spoiler disappointments...Why is Joeli still alive???? Why is Nona so damn sweet when it comes to Clera...she is just a better person than I am.
I was a little disengaged in the first part of the story, I think that comes from too much time between reading these. A pretty perfect ending to the series
Spoiler I was devastated about Apple. Pan turned out to be the most badass of them all. Such sadness around everything though. They lost so many people, and those that survived had to deal with all the loss.

I will reread this series for sure. Most stories like this don't hold a lot of reread value for me, once secrets are uncovered and the story laid out, but I have affection for these characters and their relationships with one another.

Guess what I just bought?!

A great conclusion to a super interesting series. The wrap up had some surprises and was really well done.
