The last 3 books were OK, so I'm glad this one gives me the feelings of the first 2 Murderbot books. Really enjoyed it. I will continue to the next book when it comes out later this year.

I love Murderbot so much. Real life is stressing me out a little this week and when I saw my preorder of the audiobook had downloaded - I immediately had to listen. Murderbot kept me company through chores today and was the perfect distraction - I only wish the story had been a little longer!! Highly recommend and while you could start here, you’ll love it more if you read them in order!!

Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for the free ebook. I also purchased the audiobook for myself because I love listening to these stories - the audio is excellent!!

9 months later and I finished this tiny little novella. E-books fall by the wayside sometimes.

More great Murderbot and friends, with a little more character development at the end. As usual I wish we could get more downtime with these characters (at this point I'm having a hard time remembering who's who), but Wells does sprinkle in enough that it feels like a larger world.

This story went hard on the mystery angle; quite fun in its way but the lack of immediate action probably contributed to how long it took me to get into it. Great action and reveals once things got going.

Looking forward to more, as always
