Did my annual reread of DEATH ON THE NILE, my favorite Agatha Christie book.

Death on the Nile has it all, diverse characters, exotic locale and Agatha Christie's famous Belgian detective Hercule Poirot. Christie combines intrigue, romance and mystery during a luxurious cruise through Egypt in a classic whodunit? tale that does not disappoint.

A very entertaining mystery with a satisfying and surprising resolution. Kenneth Branagh is a marvellous narrator. He gave the characters clear and distinguishable voices and brought them all vividly to life. Highly recommend the audible audio version!

I gotta say.. not my favorite Agatha Christie. Don’t get me wrong it’s a fabulous book, like all hers are. But I don’t know what it was about this one that didn’t have me fully hooked. I lost track of the characters very easily & didn’t feel as roped in as I always do with her works. But it was still an amazing book!

Another Agatha Christie that I thoroughly enjoyed. I am not usually able to figure out who the killer is, but this time, I was certain who it was. I just wasn't sure how it was done. It was still a page turner for me.
