2.5 stars. This was the second book in the Miss Demeanour PI series, but the first that I had read. While it was easy enough to pick up what was going on I did feel like I had missed a bit in terms of getting to know the characters by skipping book 1 to the point that I didn’t really care about them much, although I did like Cory.
