Although not quite as funny as its predecessor (America, The Book) it was still amusing and occasionally laugh-out loud funny. Still, a lot of the content felt stale or obvious, and even for a quick read it seemed kind of long. But, overall it was amusing enough to pass the time and definitely earns a spot on my bookshelf.

Not quite as good as America the Book, but still good.

This was pretty hilarious! The POV on this is after humans have gone away and aliens have come to Earth to learn about our planet. Jon Stewart explains just about everything there is to know about our planet. From sciences to government types to entertainment to the planet's landmasses, no stone goes unturned or unexplained in Stewart's sarcastic style. I laughed out loud quite a bit on this one! His cast of characters makes this one pretty entertaining. Loved it!

Read about a third. It made me smile a few times, but wasn't hilarious enough to seem worth reading the whole thing.

Funny, beginning chapters were more interesting than the latter. Loved the sarcastic humor.

Basically, this is review-proof: either you like the humor of the Daily Show crew, or you don't. I fall into the "mostly like, but sometimes they take the joke too far" category and this book is, for the most part, taking the joke just far enough.

The premise was funny, and there were parts of the book that were very humorous. But, it dragged a little in some sections and wasn't nearly as good as America, by the same author. There's not much more to say about it.
