The book started off quite slowly (for Rick riordan’s standards) but soon sped up. Percabeth is chef’s kiss in this book. Some parts are quite graphic compared to PJO and the first 2 HOO books. It’s really creepy and contains a lot of painful stuff.
And Nico is back!!!!!! Omg Eros basically forced him to out himself!!! I hate Eros sm!!!! I almost cried when Nico smiled and when he kissed hazel’s forehead 😭 AND THE WAY HE AND JASON TALKS ABOUT HIS SEXUALITY IS SO SAD. PLS LET HIM ACCEPT HIMSELF PLSSSSSSSSS
Graphic: Gore
Moderate: Child death

I loved this book! It was so exciting to see Percy and Annabeth develop and mature after going through such a hard thing so young. This book was no doubt sad it made me cry so much and I am not one to cry over books. The character development through this book is so well written and I loved it.
Graphic: Child death, Death, Gore, Grief, and Fire/Fire injury
Moderate: Homophobia, Panic attacks/disorders, and Outing
