I adored this book! A worried potato and a somewhat worried flamingo talk about their fears.

A GREAT story for kids who worry. This would make a great read aloud for elementary children.

*A review from a mom and her 4 year old*
This easy read aloud gives levity to the idea of worrying… something my child struggles with and could relate to. The “what if” game. This gave a lighthearted solution - to live in the moment.
I haven’t read the other books in the series and didn’t realize until midway through it was a potato… which made it so funny. I kept thinking it was a personification of Worry. And when we found out it was a potato, it was the funniest thing.
We loved that they wrapped themselves in bubble wrap. I enjoyed the illustrations and the overall thematic message.
Highly enjoyable read aloud. 2 thumbs up from 4 year old.

The idea is great so that kids know they aren't alone, but the "don't worry it won't change anything" attitude I think is a little too simplistic for most kids (and adults) processing feelings. OK, but I think a more subtle take from Circle by Mac Barnett and Jon Klassen is preferable for most kids processing their anxiety.

This picture book cleverly introduces the topic of anxiety to school aged children. I like the way worry was de-fanged in this book. Great book to help children think of ways to manage their anxiety.

The girl and the potato from I'm Bored are back and joined by a flamingo. This fun story teaches all about enjoying the now instead of worrying about the future. A definite story time hit!

A solid discussion of worry. Like the three characters and each has it's own font to represent their dialogue

Great message to help children (and maybe even adults) deal with their worries for the future. Live in the NOW.

My kids LOVED I’M WORRIED, a book that helps them grasp the idea of anxiety with humor. The characters learn that living in the now is where it’s at. The kids immediately asked for a third in the series and will be thrilled when I tell them that I’M HAPPY is on the horizon!!
I’M WORRIED is out in June!
