I don't plan on writing a memoir but I really liked this book. I enjoy reading memoirs so understanding how much work, introspection, and technique goes into creating one was very interesting and humbling. Also, in general, the book includes a lot of writing tips that can be applied to other types of works.

Generally lots of mentioned triggers bc the book mentions writing about trauma so there are some personal examples and published examples of these stories. Not very descriptive but frequent.
