Definitely a good book, although is just behind the original for me. The story was interesting, and I always love how Ransom Riggs incorporates the peculiar photos as well as leaves you on a cliff hanger magnificently every time. I’ll need to pick up the next book soon!

Really enjoyed this book (Bronwyn is a queen and I loved the ending) but the middle was a bit slow, hence the -.5 stars

I'm not going to do a review for this one. All I can say is: I SAW THAT ENDING COMING! Did anyone else? I guessed it maybe halfway through the book.

As I absolutely loved the first book in this series, this came as a surprise. It was so boring? And when it wasn’t that, it was so frustrating? I was *this* close to trying to climb into the book and slapping the characters to get some sense into them. The writing was great, but the plot? Where was it? I mean... sure... stuff happened, but it felt like they were going in circles, the stakes were impossible to win and yet everything was handed to them on a silver platter??? What confuses me the most is that immediately after finishing Hollow City I was already reaching for Library of Souls. Why? What is this sorcery?? Who have I become??

I really enjoyed this book. I find the concept of these books so cool and interesting. The photographs are weirdly disturbing but they fit the story really well.

I’m pretty sure I liked the first book more but this is still a solid read and In excited to continued the series.
