In true Mark Edward's fashion, this content was effed up. Him stalking her. Her stalking him. It really makes you think about how easy it could be for some people to do certain things. It kept me intrigued to see what was going to happen next, and it had a pretty big twist I wasn't expecting. In the end, I was satisfied with this one, although not one of my favorites. But I overall like it.

This book started off so well, but quickly got frustrating when Siobhan wouldn't call the police about what was going on, by the second part I had completely guessed how this was going to end. Thankfully it was a quick read.

Worth a read

Strange how my feelings towards the characters completely changed. Good storyline. Mark Edwards is a fantastic author

I've not read a book with such terrible, despicable characters in a long time. I probably would have been ok with their awfulness as human beings if the situations they found themselves in and their reactions were in anyway believable but they weren't. My ability to suspend disbelief quit well before the halfway mark.

On the positive side, the narrators did a great job.

I'd give it a 1.5 stars because of the narration but my dislike of everything else forces the rounding down. Awful. *shudder*

<SPOILERS> i am not very good with describing things and with my words nor am i well versed and knowledge in the book community, so i will try and review this as best as i can and give my thoughts on it. i have very mixed feeling with this book, the first half was great, loved it, i thought it was paced well, the characters were written nicely and you have a certain expectation for part 2. once you get to reading it thought.. those expectations go down hill, the main characters (alex and siobahn) were very different people the first half, alex was a creep, narcissist and an all around freak. i had no idea the authors would try and make you feel bad for him and give him a redemption arc or so i thought. siobhan, lovely character, grew fond of her but she turned out to be as much of a weirdo as alex. i thought it was a weird choice to have her character do a complete 180 and become obsessive over someone who STALKED her but i guess she was always that way from the beginning and had just missed it. in a way i understand why she fell for alex she was love deprived and wanted to someone to love her the way she wanted and that just so happened to be alex, weirdly enough. i guess they deserve each other. too bad emily had to be collateral. love female rage. anyways thank you if you read this poor excuse of a review i was gonna give it 3.5 i will now leave a 4. it was a good book

What a fun read Killing Cupid is!

This is one of those books that is quite hard to say to much about as I don't want to give anything away.

I actually quite liked Alex, no idea why as he is one very deluded individual stalking his tutor, but there was just something about him that made me take to him.

The story flicks between Alex and Siobhan his tutor so it gives the reader an insight into what it is like to be a stalker as well as being stalked.

Killing Cupid takes the whole stalking theme to a totally new level and I loved it. It makes for a gripping and intense ride that chills and thrills the reader. It really wasn't what I expected at all from the description which made it stand out so much more than other books with the same theme.

Great read.

I bought this on a whim because it looked intriguing enough but it also had the feel of a quick read. It is a book that you can speed through because it's engaging enough, and indeed disturbing, too. But it's just not memorable in any way.

The writing is pretty bad at times and, like other readers, I wasn't entirely sure if that was just down to the nature of the characters being portrayed via their journal entries or because the book was self published. Editors exist for a reason.
