There were parts that I really liked about the plot and Alec’s story. But it was too much and too confusing for such a short story. The ending didn’t feel justified. What happens next? There’s not a lot of explanation for this being “Swamp Thing”’s origin either. Steifvater really loves plant/human dichotomy though, doesn’t she?
