Exactly the heartbreaking origin story that I expected for Yasha.
She is truly one of my favorite Mighty Nein characters and the information we got about her backstory throughout Campaign 2 already broke my heart so many times. I'm really glad these origins comics gives us the opportunity to learn more about the characters' past.
Yasha had it rough, we knew that already, but i think the comics really brings across how painful it is to lose someone you love due to unjust circumstances and how overwhelming the following grief can be. Yasha wanted to escape the pain she felt and took up the first offer she could find, even if it meant that she was instead inflicting pain on others.
I'm happy she eventually got chosen by the Stormlord and that she found Molly, and later the rest of our favorite ragtag group of chaos agents. Huge love for the Mighty Nein, always.

I was not a fan of the art style, but it was still so good to revisit Yasha's origin story in the comic, and learn more details than those shared on the show!
Graphic: Murder, Blood, and Death
Moderate: Suicidal thoughts and Child abuse
