After re reading this I found it very slow and hated the fact that it jumped forward nine months. It seems unnecessary. But I love this series and about half way through this improves.

Didnt see it coming

I never saw the ending coming until it did. Then all the little hints came crashing together! Wow! Can't wait to see what happens next!

Love it! Lots of twists & turns into finding the spy that caused Talia to be shot while on her solo mission. I also think her & Erik’s relationship budding is nice, and a nice touch for her to sever the “possibility” of Donavan completely. Great second book definitely keeps you guessing introduces new characters and storylines that are all so different but yet complex & fit into talia’s storyline in their own unique way. Loved it! Ready for book 3!

This book was great! I am currently in a free trial of Kindle Unlimited from Amazon, and was lucky to stumble upon this series. TOXIC, Talia, Erik, and the whole crew are so interesting. The authors do a fantastic job keeping my interest with love, betrayal, and growth.

Caged begins several months after the end of Talented, book 1 in this series. Talia is back at the McDonough school 'recovering' from her traumatic encounter with Ian Crane, the man she holds responsible for the deaths of her parents years before.

Talia is undergoing daily injections in order to counteract whatever it was that Ian Crane had injected her with. Ever since the encounter she has been suffering seizures, and the medical team at the school are attempting to control these with more medication.

Talia is given a way out of her 'solitary confinement' by way of a new, secret, mission from Mac. He believes that there is a spy within the school who is responsible for her failed solo mission, and for putting her life in danger.

Talia is tasked with unearthing the spy by whatever means necessary, using her talents to achieve this. Mac has arranged her friend Penny to be part of the small team helping her in her efforts.

She meets new friends, as well as reacquainting herself with several old ones, who help her in various ways. She also encounters quite a few who, for reasons unknown, have their own secrets to hide.

When the truth finally comes out everything Talia thought she knew starts to fall apart. She has been lied to by people she trusted, people she called friends.

Can Talia break through all the secrets and lies to unearth the whole truth?
Will she be able to accept what she finds? Can she survive and move on?

The reader finds out even more right at the end of the story, but even then we aren't totally sure exactly how deep the betrayal goes.

The author has, again, managed to give us just enough information to keep us interested, but not quite enough to allow us to start forming exact ideas of where she is taking the story. This is the main thing which I love about this author. She manages to keep our attention, not only within the story itself, but on what may happen after it ends. Having read this I now want to immediately continue and read the next part, Hunted. I am also very excited to hear that the 4th book is out this summer.

Another great book to add to an equally great series. I am looking forward to seeing how the series, and the stories within each book, continues in the next 2 books.

I’m so confused. This books has ten repeated chapters which are marked conflict. They’re exactly the same as the previous chapter?? It was so confusing

No no no no. There’s gotta be more to this then meets the eye. More Talia, but seriously Mac is even worse. Kinda a dick
