Loved this! It was such a cozy, heartwarming read. It was the perfect balance of romance with a dash of fantasy, with the fantasy elements properly explained and fleshed out (which is often the issue I have with romantasy, though I'm not certain you can classify this as romantasy?) and the found family element was wonderful. Will definitely be reading more by this author and rereading this book at some point.

I stopped reading for days at a time because I wanted to spend more time with these characters, I was so sad to finish this one. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a sequel!

This book is easily a 5 stars to me. Super cosy, I loved all the characters, and lot of messages about life. Not a grand novel that will change the world but a sweet, cosy love story about found family.
