Snowed in together. I love this trope and I LOVED this book! She gets in a car accident during a snowstorm and he saves her. He lives on a mountain alone. He’s a veteran who is a loner and hasn’t been with a woman in 5 years. She has to stay with him because the roads are impassible. Soon, he opens up to her and he becomes happier. This is the first book I’ve read where the hero is missing a limb(leg from being wounded in Afghanistan) This is emotional and very hot! The chemistry is intense! Sooo good.

Really enjoyed this series, buy this was my favourite of the trilogy

This ticks a couple of my favourite troupe boxes - wounded male lead and forced proximity

Would recommend

I am a sucker for a snowed-in romance but this didn't quite draw me in, which is a shame. There was an abruptness to the start of the story that threw me, in both POVs so it can't be explained away as a style of voice. All the ingredients were there but it didn't add up to the delicious comfort read I was hoping for, which is a shame.

The hero of this story is a perfectly filthy mouthed, smokin hot, rugged mountain man arborist. I couldn’t ask for a better main character.

Arborists have one of those most dangerous jobs out there. They strap on those long spurs to the inside of their red-wing, steel-toed boots and up they go. Chainsaw swinging behind them as they clime trees. Zero fear, strong thighs.

Christa is a fabulous heroine, she’s strong, honest and genuine. Happy I purchased this one, it will be going on my reread list!
