It a was good story about trauma, grief, friendship, and overcoming personal battles, but it was a little too lifetime movie-ish. I could identify with Hannah and Blue, but Maya got on my nerves. She acted like a child and no where near the 30 year old woman she is, and I absolutely hated everything she said and did.
Once again Kerry's writing was gorgeous, but I didn't enjoy this as much as her debut.

Kerry delivers another spectacular novel! Friendship, trauma, recovery, forgiveness, regret, letting go, and growing up; it’s a beautiful tale that hooks you immediately and reveals the precipitating events to the present day storyline in small pieces along the way. You’ll love the characters. I cried and smiled and was more than satisfied with the excellent ending. This will be a perfect book club pick
